Who Is Carlos G. Gananian And Why Have I Not Heard Of Him Before Now?

Brazil just might have a new genre star on the rise and his name is Carlos G. Gananian. Some totally anonymous person just forwarded me the trailer for Akai, a gorgeous looking twenty three minute vampire short by Gananian, and a quick look on YouTube turned up trailers for two more Gananian projects, the demonic horror Behemoth and the very peculiar Coagula. All three look truly remarkable ... No idea who this guy is, where he came from or what else he's done, but I'm trying to find out ...
