Hiroshi Ishikawa's 'Su-Ki-Da' R2 Japan DVD with English Subtitles, September 22nd 2006.

One of those films that's only taking bare minimum information to persuade us it could well be worth a look. Lovely simple visuals shown on the website, brief reactions on Ishikawa's previous film 'Tokyo.Sora' (music on both films is by Yoko Kanno), and that's about it. Check out the stuff linked below, looks like a real gem, and English Subtitles to boot. Nice. Now, all we need is the ability to order it... [Source : Asian DVD Guide].

Ah yes, now this is good news. Dying to see this one, as Tokyo.Sora is one of my all-time favorites. As far as subtle Japanese dramas go, Ishikawa is top. And to think the man comes from the commercial industry.
