The Banquet Overseas Trailer

Oh happy day! The official site for The Banquet has been updated with two trailer, the "Overseas" version and the Cannes version (minus the english voiceover) that we posted about a month ago. At the promo section of the site, you got the option of viewing the overseas trailer either in FLV format (Macromedia flash video) or windows media. Its slow as hell to download so I uploaded it at megaupload to save you guys the trouble of waiting too long. Now go feast your eyes on this gorgeous looking trailer.

it does look beautiful. but I think if he's trying to make it in the west, they're already getting sick of trailers like these...

I kind of preferred the Cannes cut, I think (not the voiceover, though!) but this is also good. I like the overhead shots of the sword-fighting; puts me in mind of the brief but very similar bit between Andy Lau and Li BingBing in A World Without Thieves. Vaguely reminiscent of Duelist, that whole idea of turning melee combat into a dance routine.
