Being the anxious guy that I am for Dragon Tiger Gate, I couldn't resist not watching the trailer that was recently leaked on youtube.com. It may not be long before it gets taken down so go watch it when you get a chance. Action-wise, there is plenty of fight scenes shown in the trailer which is the main attraction for me. With Donnie Yen as the action director, I'm sure the fight choreography will be exciting...Not a big fan of Shawn Yue and Nicholas Tse in action roles but to my surprise, I must say that their performance actually looks impressive. Full synopsis is available on Hkfilmart.com. Also, refer back to this post to watch four making of videos.
The highly anticpated kung fu movie will be release in Hong Kong theaters on July.

Damn! That's some intense shit.
Looks absolutely amazing. I cannot wait for this movie.

That is amazing stuff, man. Did they get Louis Koo to dub over for the voice of the villain at the end of the trailer? It really sounds like him.
Looks solid to me!
Okay, I'm sold. That and Dog Bite Dog almost look like making 2006 a worthwhile year for HK cinema all by themselves. :) It's not quite dead yet, obviously...
WOW! I'll be in line on opening day (if I can get my ass to Hong Kong T___T)
Hong Kong Cinema: Dead by this time next year since 1997.
the countless trailers and teasers have really hyped this film up. Let's hope the movie has enough left to quench my thirst. Looks like a fun flick so I give my nod of approval to any sappy melodrama involved...unlike SPL which was a major lettdown (save for the knife fight)
PS: Great trailer.
(Firefox users can get the Video Downloader extension and save Flash videos from YouTube directly to their computers. An essential tool in a world where studios produce advertisements that they do not want people to actually watch.)
OMG!!! This is going to ROCK MY WORLD!!!
Can you say: "F***ing AWESOME!"? This movie's gonna be so sweet.
And was that Yuen Wah that Shawn Yue was fighting?
Yep, I noticed the presence of a guy very strongly resembling Yuen Wah in the trailer too... And considering how he's listed in the cast credits on IMDb, ten bucks says it's him.
BTW, anyone know who plays the lead villain (cape 'n' mask guy)?
Nice. Hasn't been a hint of *ridiculous* HK action like this in a good while, looking forward to it.
Another plus aside from the acion is that Kenji Kawai is scoring the music for DTG.
That's great. I can always use some Yuen Wah.
Too bad you cannot watch it in the Theatre in Canada anymore.
I don't know why English Movies can be shown in Asian Movie Threaters in Asian countries but Asian Movies Can't be shown in North America English Movie Theatres.
