A New Trailer For Alatriste!

A new trailer for big budget Spanish swashbuckler Alatriste - starring Viggo Mortensen as the titular sea captain - has hit online. A lot of the footage is repeated from the original teaser but this one is much longer and captures the impressive scope of the film better, I think. With a theatrical release set for September in Spain this seems like a sure bet to be hitting the major late summer / early fall festivals around the world ...

The best thing about that trailer was that, unlike the first one, it came with sound. Only looks OK to me so far. I guess it could be fun to watch. The mustaches already made me giggle.

I noticed that Viggo is never seen speaking in the trailer.
I wonder if he'll be dubbed or if he speaks spanish.

Yes, Viggo is fleunt in Spanish. He's once lived in Argentina for ten years.

Dont they speak Portugese in Argentina?
Never the less Im sure he speaks spanish in this one since he does seem to dwell into these roles.
