Although many people are trying to find alternative sources of energy for our future generations, Jo Beom-Jin's new animation 아치와 씨팍 (Aachi & Ssipak) found a much more convenient and harmless one. Wind? No. Water? Try Again. Then what?
That brown, stinky thing.
Yep, set in a dystopian future where the world runs on feces, where the government drugs oblivious citizens with a chemical called 'Hard', turning them into mutant creatures unable to function properly, our heroes Aachi and Ssipak are knights of the black (or brown?) market, running away from cyborg cops one day, and dealing with a pretty lady's shenanigans the other. With voice acting by Ryu Seung-Beom, Im Chang-Jung and the ever annoying Hyun Young (which kind of fits with her role here perfectly), Aachi & Ssipak is certainly the most unique Animation film to emerge in Korea in years, and its release is less than a month away. In the meantime, here's a look.

That looks great. Gratuitous parody (was that a deserved slap at WONDERFUL DAYS with all those motorcycles coming over the hill, or am I reading too much into it, as I am prone to do?), satire, profanity (I stopped counting the "bleeps" after a while) and violence for miles. I'm a simple man, with simple pleasures, and this pretty much looks to cover all the bases. Nice to see them making a real effort to earn their 18 rating.

More or less.
If any Korean Animation has a chance to do well, this is it. Might come back to haunt me, but I see this selling a good 2 Million tickets. It just looks BALLS of fun. Hope the rest of the soundtrack kicks as much ass.
