Oooh ... big thanks to Phil for passing this along ...
The first stills for Christopher Smith's Severance have turned up online and while there's nothing in there I'd call a money shot they're looking mighty nice. Severance is the sophomore feature from Smith who generated a lot of attention with Creep a couple years back, a film that genrated a mixed response but which I thought was an awful lot of fun.
For his latest Smith sends a group of arms dealers into the mountains of Eastern Europe for a corporate retreat and then sets a group of crazed ex soldiers on them. The film is screening at the Cannes market and word from that front is that it is very good, very bloody, and very funny. Expect to see it on the festival circuit soon.
(Incidentally, check out the movie haikus while on that page ... too much fun ...)
the stills certainly perk my interest in this.
As does the short-haired blonde. Hubba.
Hi Todd, here Uruloki from Spain. ¿Do you have the picture of that post in higher definition? I think it's great and funny. Now I have the one in "Feed The Pony" and I'm looking for others to make a post on my spanish blog dedicated to comic, horror, sci-fi and cult films. I'm reading that the film is sarcastic and cool as Shaun of the Dead.
Read you soon!
Unfortunately no. That's all I've got and it came as a screen grab from the HanFilm site ...
