While traumatized by the sight of his mother's death by his father's butcher knife, Marcus finds himself in the same situation years later with his own wife. After leaving his wife for dead, Marcus goes to live with his grandfather at the Blue Lake Resort to try to hide from his past.

Marcus, filled with passion, falls in love with Anna, a visitor who meets her friends at the resort on a regular basis. When Anna turns Marcus down, he has a hard time dealing with the rejection, and takes it upon himself to make sure he and Anna are the only ones left, so they can be alone.

Using his butchering skills, Marcus artistically carves each body to feed his only friends, the wolves.
