Website and Trailer For John Bergin's From Inside

(Posted In Animation Film News Horror Sci-Fi / Fantasy Trailer Alert USA and Canada )

fominsidestill.jpgEarlier this month we linked to the first teaser for John Bergin's From Inside, an animated adaptation of his own graphic novel of the same name. Unfortunately it turned out that Bergin wasn't quite ready to have people see that version of the trailer, and so it disappeared almost as soon as we linked to it.

Well, Bergin just dropped a note to say that the official website for the film has gone online and it includes a high resolution version of the trailer there along with a series of stills and a detailed synopsis. This thing simply looks fantastic, albeit in a very disturbing, post-apocalyptic way.

Simply stunning. Where has this animator been all my life?!

Heh, head down the hall and give Don a slap for not pointing him out. Bergin's a good friend and collaborator with Brett Smith of Caul ... they did a record together as Tertium Non Data and another with Jarboe from Swans as Blackmouth. Both are gooooooooood ...

Yes, this is looking fantastic! I'm not just saying that because John's my friend and I've gotten to see a bunch of footage from it :-)

Definitely something to keep an eye on. Right up there with Poultrygeist!

In the meantime, pick a copy of the graphic novel (you'll have to buy a used one), it is incredible. The film looks exactly like the novel. Amazing.

What kind of length is this going to be? Short, feature, something in-between.

He says it'll be about an hour.

And every day is a good day to slap Don.

I concur.

Thanks for the info on the length. I look forward to seeing the full film whenever it's available. Quality animation work is in too short supply.

Now THIS looks promising!
