A Trailer For Taiwanese Horror Film Silk

(Posted In Asia Film News Horror Trailer Alert )

silk.jpgUpcoming Taiwanese horror film Silk is one I've been trying to find out more about for quite some time. Horror is a relatively rare commodity in that part of the world - the best known Hong Kong horror film makers right now are Thai imports - and this one comes with a good pedigree, director Su Chao-pin having written the script for Double Vision a few years back.

Well, Grady at Kaiju Shakedown has managed to turn up a trailer and it looks surprisingly good. Not brilliant, but it's certainly good enough that I want to see more ...

i will watch the trailer BUT remember the trailer for Double Vision was pretty good and the film was as bad as many/most Hollywood horror flicks.

beautifully shot though.

Double Vision premiered at Cannes Film Festival, but only in Un Certain Regard section .

Silk will also premiere at Cannes Film Festival, but it has been awarded a prominent Out of Competition slot, along with X-Men :The Last Stand and United 93. (All of three movie will be shown in Grand Theater Lumiere, the single most important place for Cannes Film Festival)

It means that Silk would be a much better movie than Double Vision.

DOUBLE VISION sucked hard. It had 2-3 good scenes in it, though.
