If the trailer is any indication, "Reigo" looks to me like a Z-grade Sci-Fi Channel clunker along the lines of "Mammoth". While the CG effects look good and there's an interesting cast, the movie just seems to reek of low budget (hammy acting, stilted dialogue, melodramatic subplots, tired cliches). While it's nice to see that Amemiya Keita can still come up with an interesting creature design like Reigo, it doesn't seem as impressive as his work in "Zeiram" or "Hakaider".
Yebb, this looks really bad. Let's just hope they work on the sound, the picture and the FX before this is released. It needs it.
