Sigaw (The Echo) Screening in LA May 5th.

(Posted In Asia Film News Horror Random Festival News )

sigaw.jpgYam Laranas' Sigaw - a film I like rather a lot - is heading to LA as part of the VC Los Angeles Asia Pacific Film Festival so all you lucky west coasters will get the chance to see first hand why this thing has already been picked up for the remake treatment by Roy Lee and why director Yam Laranas was immediately signed by ICM following it's first (and to date, only) North American screening. Or, alternately, you can see it and tell me why you think I'm a great big idiot. Just see it.

And, to be fair, the festival itself has a great lineup of other titles ... the second If You Were Me anthology is in there as are Typhoon, The Blossoming of Maximo Oliveros, Takashi Shimizu's Reincarnation, Linda Linda Linda, It's Only Talk and a slew of others. The complete list is here.
