Ozon and Wenders Get The Korean Box Set Treatment

Ooooh, this is handy ...

If you, like me, have been much impressed by what you've seen of Francois Ozon and Wim Wenders but have been spotty in making your way through their filmographies, particularly the earlier films, here's a chance to catch up fast. Both directors are getting five film box set releases out of Korea with all of the films featuring English subtitles. The Wenders includes Kings of the Road, Paris Texas, Wings of Desire, Buena Vista Social Club and Land of Plenty. The Ozon features Criminal Lovers, Under the Sand, Water Drops on Burning Rocks, See the Sea and Sitcom.

There was an earlier Korean Ozon box that received mixed reports about transfer quality but that one has been long out of print and this appears to be a new set. As far as I know the Wenders is a new thing entirely. Both sets are priced under sixty dollars which makes 'em hard to pass up ...
