Dead End: New Thai Action From the Director Of Mission Hunter 2

deadend.jpgOoooh ... a good while back we ran a review of Mission Hunter 2, a Thai action film that featured one of Ong Bak star Tony Jaa's early starring roles. Well, director Chartchai Maliwan is back, and he's bringing Piroj Boongerd - aka Michael B - one of the key stunt men in Ong Bak and Born to Fight with him.

The film will revolve around a mafia story line with B playing a tough guy who gets involved with a drug running scheme to pay for his father's medical expenses only to be double crossed by the gangsters. Violence ensues. Action choreography is by Tawatchai Lad Loi - a veteran of the old Pechpanna Productions films where Jaa and Panna Rittikrai also cut their teeth - and the cast will be rounded out by Nattawut Skidjai and Korean actress Na Hyun-hee.

It's in mid shoot, actually ... haven't been able to find anything online about it though. The poster came froma copy of Asia Movie Week that was brought back from the HK Filmart (along with many, many goodies) for me ...

Our Eastern editor, Mike Leeder, is running a two page article in next month's Impact magazine about this movie - having trouble getting hold of stills to illustrate it tho. Can anybody help?
