Bubba Nosferatu "We Hope To Shoot This Year"

Two films to climb out of limbo via Masters of Horror series? First the Twitch post (below) on hopeful happings with Lucky McKee's "The Woods." Now, CHUD and others have been buzzing with rumors of Don Coscarelli’s Bubba Nosferatu (The Curse of the She Vampire) getting off the ground. It's based practically on a single sentence, but that has not stopped further-fetched rumours from swirling (namely the casting of Paul Giamatti). Ossie Davis brought a heck of a lot of class to the first film and it would be wise to go for that again. It nonetheless seems a bit early for the film to talk about casting multiple oscar-nominees before funding is even locked down.

Coscarelli: "Bruce can't wait to put his Elvis jumpsuit back on again...We hope to shoot this year."

(He further teased with the words"Bubba Sasquatch." But really, I'm hoping for Elvis vs. the Trailer Park Boys in Bubba Samsquanch")
