Lau Kar Leung seeking investors for biopic

(Posted In Action Asia Drama Film News Martial Arts )

Lau-Kar-Leung-Wu-Jing.jpgYou simply cannot be a fan of kung fu cinema and not know who Lau Kar Leung is. The dude is 70 years old and it still plenty capable of kicking your ass and mine. Need a refresher? You would have seen him most recently in Drunken Monkey and Drunken Master II. And you would have seen his work as action director in Seven Swords. The man is a legend! That's him on the left with Jing Wu [SP...freaking...L!!!] on the set of Drunken Monkey.

Anywho! Lau Kar Leung wishes to do a biopic about Luk Ah Choi, the master of Wong Kei-ying, the father of Wong Fei Hung, both portrayed respectively by Ti Lung and Jackie Chan in Drunken Master II. Lau Kar Leung is also part of the lineage of this martial art handed down by Luk Ah Choi, Hung Gar.

Got a million bucks sitting around in a sock or under your bed? Why not invest in this movie? Lau Kar Leung has already mapped out a plot and is looking for investors to keep the project going.

I have a known director attached to my screenplays, who can also provide domestic theatrical distribution if needed.

BLOODLINE
An innocent man is infected with the blood of the Devil and is caught in a centuries old battle between the chosen soldiers of God and Demons to prevent the coming of the Anti-Christ.

WALK WITH DEVIL
A dark force watches over a “connected” man as he spirals towards a final choice, which will decide far more than his mortal fate. An eerie action/thriller with a dark spiritual overtone centered around two warring crime syndicates and a web of betrayal.

WAYS OF THE WICKED (Sequel to WALK WITH THE DEVIL)
An assassin with a mysterious past breaks the rules of his profession by double crossing his billionaire employer and finds himself being the hunted.
