We first posted about upcoming pan-asian horror anthology Black Night back in January and with information sketchy at best my expectations have been kept rather low. Yes, the countries involved - Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand - have all produced solid horror films in recent years and the directors involved are all respectable, if not exactly known for horror, but perhaps I was just feeling a little burnt out on the whole anthology concept.
Well, the Thai trailer has just released and color me interested in a big way. Not only does this look to exceed my expectations but it just looks falt out killer, period. The trailer focuses pretty much exclusively on the Thai entry to the project and it looks amazing. There are some truly stunning images tucked away in there. Very, very nice.

Wow, that trailer is beastly, no doubt. I missed out on the original announcement of the anthology. Thanks for that.
I know it's been done in many trailers before, but going on recent memory, this trailer uses that whole silent "beat, scene, beat, scene, beat, scene" sequence at the end of it just like the trailer for Silent Hill did.
Looks pretty great. The shot with the woman being dragged into the red, was that part of the Thai entry? It seemed like at least at the end they were showing all of the entries, little clips of each.
