Gamera Second Trailer

While not as dark and grim as Shusuke Kaneko's version of Gamera as I would like it to be, I can still appreciate the great SFX in this new version as shown in the second trailer that turn up at the newly revamped official Gamera site yesterday. In the trailer, there are some sweet clips of a fully grown Gamera in action againest Jidas which is sure to please hungry fans out there seeking to get their kaiju fix, now that Toho has retired the Godzilla franchise.
Gamera hits theaters in Japan on Apiril 29, 2006.

Whilst I love the 90's Gamera movies I think it would have been wrong for this new film to ape them.
Making the movie for kids is a great idea - restoring Gamera to his status as the 'friend of all children' which was pretty much demolished in Revenge Of Iris.

Hallo ich heisse Orhan.Seit meiner Kindheit bin ich Gamera fan.
Ich find es leider nur schade das nur Godzilla filme auf deutsch erschienen sind, obwohl ihm Gamera leicht das wasser reichen kann und Sie gleichstark sind.Wäre doch eine gute nach Godzilla Final Wars Gamera endlich die ehre zu erteilen in deutschland wieder Aufzuerstehen.Zumal würde ich mich freuen wenn alle Gamera Folgen auf Deutsch erscheinen würden.
