Why I wish George Clooney was my dad!

Not that Clonney didn't already have everything in the bag to begin with anyways. But considering no one else seems to be doing something with their bag other then keeping it, kudos to him.

He's even including a handwritten note with auction piece. Classy guy.

its always dangerous to assume what a 'star' has or doesn't have...that being said though you don't get to keep that sort of Hollywood status by driving a beat up Ford Focus and living in Silverlake...I mean if you work in an industry predicated on image then you have to own the things that give one 'image'...I'm not condoning what rich people spend their money on but I think giving his Oscar booty to a charity speaks volumes about who he is and what is important to him.

Um...I was joking. I must have forgot how well sarcasm comes through on the internet. *cue sarcasm* ....jeez.

I always wondered why the hell oscar winners got additional "prizes" for winning an oscar - I think that in itself would be enough for me. Perhaps this will set a precedent for other actors.
