MidnightEye. The Results Are In... Your Favourite Japanese Films of 2005 Are...

(Posted In Action Animation Asia Comedy Cult DVD News Horror Random Geek Talk Sci-Fi / Fantasy )

mindgamedvd.jpeg...Over at MidnightEye. Anyway, you can see there's such a huge amount of films that people have managed to get to see, some are clearly well known, others entirely obscure and for those probably within the industry or in Japan itself, and some are out there with English Subtitles and languishing in relative obscurity. Make you own choices and judgements on what you use the list for, hopefully to select some more films out for watching which means more money on DVDs I suppose, but for me I shall pick through it at some length to see if there's anything I particularly want - the whole list links into MidnightEye's own reviews where available.

Elsewhere in the site there's some Anime movie reviews, an Anime round-up, and a review of Donald Richies book 'A Hundred Years of Japanese Cinema' that's worth taking a look. Oh, and an interview with Studio 4C's Eiko Tanaka - remember, if you haven't seen Mindgame then you've missed one of the most impressive Anime films that has ever turned up : and yes, the Japanese DVD is Subtitled and it isn't out anywhere else yet... and we will keep going on about it until everyone has realised it (*joke*).

Mindgame is life changing. The more you watch it, the more you get out of it each time. It's one of THOSE movies.
