Wu Jing: No SPL but underground fighting in his future

First the sad news. Wu Jing said on a fan chat on February 22nd that he would unlikely be cast in the SPL sequel. Boo-urns.

Dennis has begun writing a script about underground fighting and Wu Jing and Ronald Cheng have been sought to take the male leads. Miki from the canto-pop group Cookies [?] is also in talks.

Since the news about the script being written for Wu Jing and both he and Ronald already being cast for the leads Wu Jing has returned to Beijing and begun training in Sanda, or San shou, to prepare for the role.
