Ah, those clever Brits ... when the American media say 'Banned!' they hear 'Free Press!' and so Takashi Miike's Imprint, his entry in the Masters of Horror series, dropped from broadcast in North America for being too extreme, will be getting a television airing after all although only in the UK. Bravo will be airing the show April 4th at 11pm. Bravo is also hosting a new clip from the episode - at least it's new to me, I don't believe it's been seen before - on their website that demonstrates, once again, that nobody has an eye for unpleasant prosthetics quite like Miike ...
Check all the details and the clip here. Thanks to Ben for the pointer.
Did that hand... have a face on it?
If ever there was a case for bit torrenting...
Hah, take that Showtime!
That episode is going to spread like wildfire...
the only thing worth watching on Shotime is Bullsh!t (but not worth purchasing the channel subscription for one show). MoH turned out to be a huge dissapointment. you can purchase single episode dvd's from the show. Cigarette Burns was the best I had seen thus far...can't wait to get my hands on the Miike show.
The Miike Show? Hmmm? The Miike Show! Interesting.
The last couple months have reestablished my faith in Miike. This seems to be his version of those old Tokugawa era torture flicks directed by Teruo Ishii in the late 60ies and early 70ies. Can't wait!
Correction: soon, Arrested Development will make Showtime worthwhile.
Yes, the hand has a toothy mouth and briefly opens its eyes.
Awesome, for once it pays to be british.
actually, no, arrested development won't be on shotime. the creator of the show is considering calling the show over and done with. it's a shame, though. shotime still sucks. i need another season of dead like me, wouldn't it be awesome if fox picked it (dlm) up and shotime picked up wonderfalls and arrested development. i'll stop living in the past now. ad is the best show on tv.
