You know, as much as I've hated nearly all the video game adapted movies (Mortal Kombat had it's charm, so I don't really "hate" it), I still maintain hope until I see that it's crap.

Ha, ha... I hope they film it in Toronto (I don't know why they would, but hey...) so that I can audition for Kilik. I did some fighting in an indie movie once and loved it.

I did some digging by entering "2nd Degree Media" into yahoo search engine and I came across this site:

There is the contact info and one of the location mention is Canada. I'm not sure if it meant Toronto. Here it is:

please for the love of all that is gammer dont mess this movie up stay to the story line dont make the charecters crap keep there voices the way they are please please please dont mess it up im one of the biggest SC fans out there please dont mess it up ill even give you my first unborn child.

if this is true......

1. they need to put ALOT of money into this.

2. they need to get a good round of actors.

3. make cervante's the main villain.

4. make sure maxi, kilik, xianghua are followed alot or given a fat amount of character loving aura.

5. sammo hung and john woo need to do this

SC2 was the ultimate bzomb, yea I have a feeling that they will mes it up, I mean the movie have to be extended to 3hrs+ right? I am a big fan of the Soul Calibur series but i hope they dont mess up this movie like the did for Mortal Kombat because that movie sucked soo i am hoping to movie will include all the important parts of the game because Soul Calibur is the best!!!!!and it better be the best movie of the year too!!!!!

Oh my gosh they better have a good actrees for Ivy and she better be a main character! I would like the movie better if it was a animated movie with it looking like the opening videos on th games! They will mess it up though cuz most of the time the people who write the script and direct the movie has never even played the game. Losers!!!

I Love Soul Calibur Soooooo Mutch!!!!! But.......this movie is probably gona suck. But they should still giv it a shot. For some reason i always thought,WOW WAT IF THEY MADE A SOULCALIBUR MOVIE? im not sure if this movies gonna be good at all,dont get me wrong soul caliburs a great game,but why dont u ppl stop and think about a live action movie...when it could be ANIMATED!! i mean the characters would look so much more realistic and stuff.they could do like the animation from sc3 exept make it a bit more real kind of like final fantasy advent children!!!!...well i didnt see the trailer yet so it might already be animated or sumthin...BUT STILL ET YOUR HOPES UP!! :)

Big fan of SC and i dont no why u all try and get random characters to be the main because Nightmare/seigfreid will be the main hands down!!(yoshimitsu is also cool :P)

whatever, i doubt the dudes will ever make the movie. there probally some jay and silent bob freaks in ohio wanting to be actors so that they can get laid. daddy probally bought them the rights so they'd jack eachother off and he could go on his way. after all these years it still hasnt went into production it never will. boo yahh

Ok Soul Calibur is all about the progress of Siegfried and his fight with Nigthmare/Soul Edge. He has to be the main focus of the movie, how he progresses, the other characters are incidental. I mean no disrespect but you cannot deny this. I encourage you to do so but do so with proof please, not just opinion.

hope soul calibur movie will offer us a look at ivy and her father servantes's stories!

siegfried and nightmare will be main characters. cerventes will be a main character throughout the start when he had soul edge, but will probably not appear much after, though his father might be shown, or at least his fathers history. sophitia and taki are the ones who originally defeated cervantes and soul edge, along with siegfried so they will also have a starring role. voldo will appear on and off, and we might see his masters history, too. seung mina, hwang and li-long were replaced so they probably wont star much although their "clones" might, but astaroth definetly will appear, but not rock. seung-mina does meet kilik though, whereas hwang is totally replaced by yun-seong. kilik and maxi MIGHT make a short appearance as they are enemies of astaroth. li-long never carried on through the games neither did rock so they definetly will NOT appear. xianghua will appear as she has a signifigant part in the stroy along with kilik and maxi, and zasalamel will appear for sure as he did fight kilik and resurrected nightmare. cassandra might appear later as she is sophitias sister. if yun-seong appears, than so will talim, and vice-versa, as they associate with each other throughout the third game, but they will only make a minor role. raphael has to appear as he pierces the eye of soul edge, and releases nightmare from siegfried, though temporarily. tira will also have to appear as she meets zasalamel and she is a follower of nightmare, (and carries a cool ring thingy weapon.) she is also possessed by soul edge in soul calibur 3 at one stage. abyss is zasalemal mutated due to the powers of soul edge and soul calibur, so he will appear towards the end. night terror will be the final character to make a role, only behind abyss, and as the movie ends, we will probably see what will happen at the start ofthe 4th soul calibur. over all this is TOO long for a movie and will probably be seperated into the parts of the games. besides there is still one more game to be released, and plenty more storyline and possibly more games after that, (namcos tekken series is at 6 now, and had 2 parts to number 5)
