Three teaser trailers for Hiroshi Nishitani's The Star of Prefecture Government (Kenchô no hoshi) - the first of which features English narration - have been added to the official website for the movie. Also, the trailer reported on in this Twitch article from December 30th of last year, which was listed on that site as a teaser trailer (tokuhô), is now listed on it as a theatrical trailer (yokokuhen).

As was first reported here on Twitch back on November 27th of last year, the screenplay for The Star of Prefecture Government (Kenchô no hoshi) was written by Shinsuke Satô, based on the eponymous novel Kenchô no hoshi by Nozomi Katsura. The movie's principal cast is as follows: Yûji Oda, Kou Shibasaki (a.k.a. Kô Shibasaki), Kuranosuke Sasaki, Sôkô Wada, Mahiru Konno, Hisashi Igawa, Tôru Masuoka, Kaoru Okunuki, Bengal (Bengaru), Wakako Sakai, and Kôji Ishizaka.

Tôhô K.K. is scheduled to release The Star of Prefecture Government theatrically in Japan on February 25th.
