French Trailer and Two Scenes From Chen Kaige's The Promise

The Chinese trailers for Chen Kaige's Wu Ji (AKA The Promise, AKA Master of The Crimson Armor) have been available for quite some time now, yes, but the producers of the film made the very poor decision of hosting their website at Sina, quite possible the worst web presence in the world, thus giving them the appearance of being available while they actually remained well nigh impossible to access. But now the French trailer for the film has hit online, along with two complete scenes, and they're all hosted on a site that actually, you know, works. So now you can take a look at if yourself without your hair turning gray while you wait for it to download.

The Hong Kong DVD releases February 28th.
