Now, I'm sure most Londoners reading this are already aware that the Prince Charles Cinema runs a weekly Tartan-sponsored Asia Extreme night every Monday. But for those who don't, now's the time to learn because over the first three weeks of February the featured titles will be Sympathy For Lady Vengeance, Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance and Oldboy - yep, the entire Vengeance trilogy. Nice. Get out there and see them the way they were meant to be seen: on the big screen.
ICA on the mall in londons had a 'brilliant korea' season (lady vengeance is on tonight for example) and theyve shown 'tell me something' and 'tale of two sister' amongst others... theres also a Frightfest season showing there too... www.ica.org.uk
Yeh they are doing a mini-frightfest right? Due to the popularity of the Summer one.. I must check that out.
I love the Prince Charles - I practically live there. It is the place to catch cheapies, as most movies are only a couple of quid..
..and they had that Free Korean Film Fest where I caught Hypnotized, Spider Forest, Moment To Remember...
Love it. Think I will pop down to see Lady Vengeance there, which I have on DVD, but STILL havent watched yet..
I'd so go if I lived there. I wish I lived in a city that gets arthouse or any foreign films EVER.
Guess I'll have to hold out fot the trilogy on R1 dvd :)
