Man, I have to say that I love the promotional campaign behind upcoming Russian horror flick Dead Daughters. By releasing a series of teasers that are nothing more than images and sound the people behind the film are doing a stellar job of establishing the tone and mood of the thing without giving away anything in terms of plot. It's a less-is-more approach that's working wonderfully and that more film producers could stand to use. It certainly doesn't hurt that the footage in this is absolutely fantastic ...
And yes, two more teasers have just hit the net, both of them significantly longer than the original batch. Both are excellent, but I'm particularly fond of Teaser Six, which is loaded with shots that brought to mind Shinya Tsukamoto, Song Il-Gon and Christoffer Boe. Will the story live up to the pictures? No idea, but the pictures have got me mighty intrigued.

Watched #6 and... well, I'm sold. Or at least tremendously intrigued. I hadn't looked at any of these posts yet, but I'm in as of now. :D
There was a vaguely Silent Hill-esque ambience about it, too... the ambient noise/notes and the way the mood of the exterior shots reminded me of the outside views in SH4... great stuff. One I shall be waiting for.
