It's really good to see Peter Dinklage getting work after his stunning turn in Thomas McCarthy's deservedly praised The Station Agent. (I never caught Elf, but surely some of you have).
Penelope is a (modern?) fantasy fable where a pig-snouted woman (Christina Ricci or Reese Witherspoon, both of which are in the film) must break this curse and find true love. OK, strange. But check out the cast besides Dinklage, Witherspoon and Ricci, there is Richard E. Grant and Catherine O'Hara! Oh yea, and Star Wars alumnus, Hayden Christensen.

This is indeed excellent news, especially after Peter did such an amazing job blending action, drama and comedy in CBS's short-lived "Threshold." It was so great to see him finally becoming a well-known name to people who hadn't seen his film roles. The sooner he comes back to the screen--big or small--the better!
