Stephen Chow = Alien/Astronaut love?

Apple Daily reported that Stephen Chow's next project may or may not be a much anticipated sequel to Kung Fu Hustle. Instead Chow has expressed a interest in doing a sci-fi film first about a relationship between an astronaut and an alien.

"Apart from 'Kung Fu Hustle,' I'm indeed also working on a sci-fi movie. I haven't decided which one to film first, but it isn't very appropriate to reveal details now. I'll wait until the time is riper,'' the newspaper quoted Chow as saying. The newspaper said Chow wants to film a movie about an astronaut to capitalize on the space craze sparked by China's recent successful manned space missions. The report said Chow has already found American investors for the sci-fi movie, and recently flew to the U.S. ahead of the Golden Globe Awards ceremony to work out details with his backers [US$20 million].
