The Messengers is a different kind of supernatural story because it shows the point of view of both the people and those who are haunting them."
So says Danny Pang on their upcoming (August 2006) North American debut. Think what you will about some of the narrative glitches in the Pang ouevre, they know how to shoot a helluva good goose-bump moment. About.com has six stills from the film, and an extensive set-visit report (here). The Messengers involves a family making an attempt to revive a run-down sunflower farm when things begin to get haunted. It was shot in the Canadian Prairies on some of the same (or nearby) sets used for Terry Gilliam's Tideland.
