Perhaps Love Hits DVD January 26th!

Peter Chan's musical Perhaps Love, one of my more anticipated films of the year, is slated to hit DVD in Hong Kong January 26th and the release looks like a good one. The feature is English subtitled with DTS and 5.1 sound and the second disc includes a roll of deleted and secondary unit footage. Nice.
Why care about this? Well, beyond being Hong Kong's Oscar entry the Takeshi Kaneshiro (House of Flying Daggers) starrer is shot by genius cinematographer Christopher Doyle - along with Peter Pau - and all the advance footage says director Chan has really turned Doyle loose on this. It looks positively stunning.
