Official Site and Teaser for Pang Brother's Re-Cycle

(Posted In Asia Horror Trailer Alert )

recycle.jpgThe official site for Pang Brother's Re-cycle is now online. A teaser is up but it takes forever for the teaser to finish loading. The lead role is play by Angelica Lee who worked with the Pang Brothers before in The Eye. Universe will release this film in the summer.

Heres a brief synopsis taken from Hkfilmart.com:
After drafting the first chapter of her new novel, Ghost’s Land, successful author Chu Xun stops writing and even deletes the file which contains the draft from her computer. Later she begins to see things, including a woman who appears repeatedly, which cannot be explained.

After having a look at the teaser, I was thinking to myself in stun disbelief, "what the heck did I just saw!?!" The word that pops into my mind to describe this teaser is surreal. Have a look yourself and you will know what I mean.

Thanks to Hitman for the heads up.

i like the look of that, very nice. lots of CGI, but it seems the story is very unusual and needs it... they havent done anything quite like this before, right? in terms of budget and scale? ive seen the eye, but all the comments about subsequent works are very mixed or negative... still, theyre interesting. wondering what will turn up of the american project thingy...

Woah, very surreal. Looks a little like Constantine fx-wise. I hope the they've spent as much attention to detail on the script as they have on the visuals, then I will look forward to seeing this.
Lets hope it starts it's own surrealist movie movement, I haven't seen a decent one since Time Bandits!!!

Wow ... they've actually improved on the test reel stuff and that was mighty impressive to begin with ... but the, the problem with the Pang's never lies with the visuals, so I'm echoing Oldnik's hopes for a decent script this time ... they've taken their time with this one, which is a good sign.

Logboy: the american flick is done shooting, so there should be materials coming soon ...

Beautiful visuals. Again let's hope they have a better script to work with this time.

overall while watching this movie, it was alright, too short i'll say and there wasnt much action at all, but the ending is so sad, i had tears in my eyes and for the actors and actress, i think they done a really good job, ting-yu was so cute! and chu xun is beautiful! wait, is this a japanese movei? or chinese?
