The official website for Yuthlert Sippapak's Ghost of Valentine (Krasue Valentine) isn't online yet; however, the URL for it is http://www.ghostofvalentine.com/ . (Thanks to Joshua Pettigrew for bringing this to the attention of Twitch.) The movie apparently stars 'Ploy' Jindachoti and Pitisak Yaowananon. Sahamongkol Film International Co. Ltd. is scheduled to release it theatrically in Thailand on February 16th.
According to View from the Brooklyn Bridge, "the Phii Krasue is a very scary ghost in Thai mythology. It consists of a flying head with entrails hanging from it and a voracious hunger for blood and intestines. It uses its long flicking tongue to lick the dead carcass and sharp teeth to chew on it. It has a similarity with a ghost type from Malaysia called the penanggalan ('head with dancing intestines'). This type of ghost has been depicted at least a couple of times previously in Asian films with Hong Kong's 'Witch with the Flying Head' (1977) and Indonesia's 'Mystics In Bali' (1981)."
Sippapak's previous directing credits include Buppah Rahtree and Buppah Rahtree Phase 2: Rahtree Returns.

The poster looks beautiful. There was another Thai film a few years back called Kra Sue (Demonic Beauty). It had some cartoonish special effects that made it a laugh to watch. The DVD, with English subs, is now in the bargain bins. Cambodia's re-emerging film industry has recently produced Nieng Arp (Lady Vampire), which is about another flying head-and-entrails monster.
In Malaysia, these monsters are called "pontianak". There is also a mention of them in Kwaidan (Ghost Story) by Lafcadio Hearn.
Trailer goes online January 20th.
I just loved Mystics In Bali!
Sorry, but the Malaysian female creature named "Pontianak" (and illustrated by a series of film from 1956 to our days) has nothing in common with the krasue. Pontianak can fly, but with her entire body, it's not a severed head with dangling intestines such as the krasue. The krasue is also known as "penanggal" ou "manangal", and at least 15 movies were based on this creature, in Thailand, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
