Update: King of Fighters: Another Day Episode 2 Online

Way back in September, Logboy reported news about the King of Fighters: Another Day from Production IG. Recently in Japan, episode 2 from this anime, entitle "Accede" air on the Showtime channel. You can catch it for free at the Showtime KOF website. If you miss out on episode 1 entitle, "All Out", you can see it at that site too. Just follow the link and pick which video size to view it in. The running time for each episode is just under 9 minutes. There is no English subtitle so this may pose a problem if you want to follow the story (assuming you don't understand Japanese).

Each episode focus on a different set of characters with its own self-contain story on a common event that occur during a span of one day. Does that make sense? Sort of like 24, the drama TV series. Anyhow, it might be helpful to be familiar with the video game which this animation is based on to fully apreciate the story.

The next episode, "In the Dark" will air on Februray 2 and thereafter, the last episode, "All Over" will air on March 3.

Well, since Another Day appears to be more or less a setup for Maximum Impact 2(which wont be out for some time) there really isnt much you can do at the moment in order to "fully appreciate" the show.

Wondering if someone can snag the file from the source? It's asking all sorts of questions in Japanese, which makes me wonder if you have to be in Japan to watch this thing (which is dumb for free web stuff, but anyway), Can anyone get the first ep and put it up somewhere? I'd like to see it.

GOOD news, the song is called "Regret" and the name of the band is "Dakota Star". Now, I do not know the real length of the song, but the one I have is 2 minutes 13 seconds. If that's the real version, then it's awfully short.
