Alexander Aja's 'The Hills Have Eyes' First Trailer Online.

Surprised as anyone that Aja has gone from an original genre movie (argue over that one all day, but in essence it's original) like 'Haute Tension', one of the most talked about crossover horror films in the last couple of years, to a remake of a classic like 'The Hills Have Eyes' by Wes Craven. Not been following the details on it, but Aja is certainly capable of stringing something together with a great gorey style, and that means as more info drips out on this on I will keep an eye out. For now, the first trailer is online now at Apple.

Sweet! I didn't realise Ted Levine was in it. Fucking love that dude, such an under used actor in films.
The trailer looked very good as well, hated Haute Tension on the other hand but that was more to do with a idiotic script than style.

Aya is the man! Can't wait for this! I'll have to wait for the unrated DVD, though. The MPAA went scissor-happy over the film.

I was impressed with Haute Tension until the ending, which was pretty disappointing. The substance of the movie was great - the style is where it lacked. Hopefully the director has learned a little something and can make this one of very few memorable remakes.
