And The First Announced Title for the 2006 BIFFF is ...

... Yam Laranas' Sigaw, a film we like a bit around here. Now, the news is via Laranas' blog and not the BIFFF website but he actually let me know this was coming well over a month ago and has been waiting for official word that he was allowed to take the news public. So not only does this mean all you Euros will have the chance to see one mighty fine film at the world's leading fantastic film festival, but it should also mean that a flurry of other programming announcements are just around the corner. No way they give Laranas the all clear to spill this if they're not ready with a stack of additional announcements ...

And those of you who don't want to go to Brussels to catch the film have another option ... it's also been announced for Portugal's Fantasporto. See? We told you it was good ...
