Second Nochnoy Dozor 2 (Day Watch) Trailer Online!

Night Watch was top of my personal 'Most Overrated Films of 2005' list. Very, very dull movie with a nonsensical plot and couple of decent effects, all of which are shown in the trailer. Hopefully the second part will be an improvement.

One of the biggest dangers when viewing NIGHTWATCH is to filter it through a Hollywood Blockbuster sensibility. Viewing it as a sprawling and messy epic, which is only one part of three is the better way. I'll be saving my full judgement until the entire trilogy is released, but for the record I was satisfied with NIGHTWATCH, and it gets better with subsequent viewings.

As with most films, expectations going in are highly influential. Lower them a tad perhaps.

New trailer is very nice...and 'sprawling' to say the least...Horses crashing through Brick walls = cool.

It was sure nice to see a movie from mother russia here in Australia. I saw it twice and I have to agree that it gets better with more viewings. I really liked the play with the subtitles and I guess if you're not russian you can ignore (not notice) a whole heap of russian product placement. I'm really excited about the second part coming out. I wonder if day watch and twilight watch will be filmed.. It'll make is a very long sequel. Longer then Star Wars I believe.

do you know how long it would take to shoot nine movies just think of it this way... the night watch 2 movie will just be coming out somewhere next year and the 3 is planning to be out in 2007 so the twilight watch or dusk watch part 3 would be comming out in 2013... thats if they keep shooting nonstop

AAAAAAAAAaa!!!!!! It is very good movie!!! I saw it 2 times))) it is much interest then hollywood!!! actors are superb! You may be know that all films we compare with Soviet performing and Daywatch is brilliantly show that we don't just coping west filmmaking)))))

This movie rules..it has an original approach to the wole overstrtched topic but without the pretentious hollywood feel we are used to in such types of movie... the Russian feel in it only adds to the submersive atmosphere..ppl like filtii (prob trying to say filthy) should try formums only after learning to write and think for themselves

Great movie. Saw it many months ago (finally it pays off to be living next to russia) and loved it. I remember reading from somewhere that the segual is already goming here soon. Can't wait. Anyway highly recommend it to movie fans. I really liked the fact that a movie doesn't have to be from america to have this kind of quality. The russians really surprised me.

Well if the movie made any sense i might have enjoyed it but i found no story line what so ever, i mean what the hell was that part about when all the crows were flying on top of the building and that guy was following that woman for about 15 minutes through the movie (boring) and then they sat down and had coffee i was left feeling like i had to check my calender to see if it was April fools day and to see if this movie was some elaborate prank.

Excellent movie- surprised it's taken SOOOOOOO long to finally get release over here and US. I have had it on dvd for more than a year. Bought the russian version (english subs- also)
Loved it- so dark, gritty- non hollywood- just hope now hollywood has got it's teeth into it- it will not suck big time!! (no pun intended). Trailer for next one looks cool.
www.movietyme.com has it for sale- but when i bought it- it was an unknown foriegn film so was only £7.99- price has increased greatly due to popularity. will buy UK or US one too as Russian one has little in way of extras.

PAY ATTENTION TO THE DAMN MOVIE!!!!!!! if you dont have an attention span worth 5 cents USD then you dont have Room to complain that you "Didnt get the movie" its your own problem, not the movies, i have watchd this movie 14 times in a week (since the DVD release) and it keeps getting better and better....

so you didnt like it? thought it didnt EXPLAIN itself? WATCH the movie, dont just sit there and bitch at it because YOU are lost, grow a brain and absorb what this AMAZING movie has to offer. very original, better than almost ANYTHING to come out of the USA in a LONG LONG time....and probably FOR a long long time... THANK YOU RUSSIA!!!!!

I finally got a copy of this when Fox sent us one - they had agreed to put trailers for our project - the animated apocalypse comic BROKEN SAINTS - on the final Nightwatch DVD. I was hoping the movie was truly special, and would have similar themes to our series.

I was EXTREMELY surprised - and happy - with the quality of the narrative, the performances, the effects, and the overall design (especially with the tiny budget they had to work with). I have a HUGE respect for the group that crafted this effort, and cannot wait for the next instalment.

Nightwatch rocks. Let the Russian Renaissance continue!!!

I have watched a trailer - it looks amazing.

I am looking forward to this so much. It's not due for an australian release until October. Although I was very disappointed to hear that Twilight and Final Watch are going to be shot in english. Why can't Fox keep it's damn fingers out!?!?!
