The Singapore made J-Horror style ghost story is tearing up the local Box Office. Sounding a bit like "The Sentinal" the story involves the Chinese Seventh Month, when the gates of hell open and spirits of all kinds (the Chinese have many hells) are let free to roam. This goes on for 30 days, while folks try to follow a bunch of superstitious rules to get through.
This is Singapore's first go a directing a Main stream horror picture with potential international distribution. The official site is here (and a pain to navagate).

Saw it. Steals its scares from other Japanese or horror stuff, including The Ring, Ju-On, The Eye and others. Highly unoriginal and ineptly directed. Watch it at your own risk.
The stills did give the J-Horror vibe to it, which the producers said (in interviews) they were trying to avoid to create a more regional style...It's good to know that it is a bit low on the original scale.
the movie i veri nice .roa i the bet
her actin i good
alessandra de rossi is very god. She's very pretty and portrays her role remarkably! She's a wow!
"the maid" really sent shiver to my spine while i was watching it. though it has the same production designs as other previous asian hooror films, the acting of the lead characters played their role outstandingly. i was so much pinned with alessandra de rossi's acting. She did very well and she provided again evidence that Philippines is a homeland of promising actresses with international quality. Especially actresses from the GMA network. Unlike from ABS-CBN, just a bunch of wet market actresses. Thanks!
this movie is so great....the actress is so professional,,,filipino actress allesandra de rossi is so good,,she is real actress...i love the way she act...so nice...i love it...all filipino actors and actresses are great,,more power to u alesandra....ur the best...best actress in asia...philippines most promising actress...
