Death Trance Trailer Online!

deathtranceonesheetsmall.jpgGlory! I've been checking the official Death Trance website daily for a while now, itching fot the day that the trailer would turn up online. That day was today.

For those not in the know Death Trance is the new film co-produced by Media Blasters, starring Tak Sakaguchi of Versus and Battlefield Baseball fame, and directed by the action director from Versus. If you, like me, have despaired of Ryuhei Kitamura ever again reaching the heights he hit with his samurai-zombie debut and have, like me, become convinced that Sakaguchi and the talented crew had more to do with Versus' success than anyone first though then this one just may be the Holy Grail: the follow up that Versus has always deserved.

The trailer - linked above - looks fantastic and as an added bonus I noticed today that Rapidshare has upped their file size limit which means I can make the lengthy Death Trance promo reel available again without destroying our bandwidth here like I did when I posted it a while back. There's virtually no way this film can be worse than the first Media Blasters production, FLESH FOR THE BEAST, but who knows since that company seems to be run by complete fools. And VERSUS was horrible . . . it doesn't deserve a followup.

mad monk is one cold ass bitch. But one person's views aren't stopping a whole production of a film. Nor has it ever, unless your an executive producer. Versus is an indy movie, low expectations, and instead it was a great film leading to the versus crew being out in japans film buisness.

I love versus and am excited for a sequal.
death trance looks good and am interested in this movie.

As far as Versus goes, its all on how you take it. Personally, the movie made me laugh it had some great one liners and the action sequences were sweet. Like Chomogo said, "opinions are opinions." Saw a promo traier for Death Trance, now I can't wait for the movie. . .
