Yep, another one. Touted as the 'Theatrical Trailer'. Well, it's different to the most recent posted here, and different from the one I saw at the Cinema recently. Very, very confused now - too many trailers...
Anyhow, here. Quicktime.

damn.. that looks good..
While it does look kick ass I fear that Spielberg is making up for, or "rectifying" the fact that Ritchard Dreyfuss's character left his family in Close encounters of the third kind. A fact that Spielberg regrets to have done and would have done differently today if he had the chance to do it all over again. So I'm expecting some sappy family moments.
Swarez: Interesting theory...That certainly puts Spielberg well within the conservative/revisionist camp that his pal George Lucas wallows in....
Then again, I'm a huge fan of Spielbergs "CATCH ME IF YOU CAN"...it's probably his best (well most mature/sophisticated) film.
Strangely, the poster art reminds me of the intro to a certain FOX series of the same name that was canned after two seasons.
Even more strangely is how fondly I remember that show. Of course, I was 15 at the time. I'm halfheartedly looking forward to this film, though the independent version set in the proper era looks infinitely more satisfying. I find it disturbing that they still list H.G. Wells as the writer, considering the amount of obvious changes.
