Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life Has a Writer

We reported a good while back that Edgar Wright of Spaced and Shaun of the Dead fame was looking likely to direct an adaptation of the three part graphic novel - part two is just about to release - Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life. Well, Edgar's involvement is pretty much definite now and it's being widely reported that Universal has hired screen writer Michael Bacall to handle the adaptation. Nobody is saying when this will actually get rolling but since Hot Fuzz is farther along in the writing / development process my guess would be that one will roll first with Scott Pilgrim following close behind.
