The official website for Kôji Wakamatsu's 17 and Life (17-sai no fûkei - shônen wa nani o mita no ka) is now online, although at present, it's just a home page. As was previously reported here on Twitch, the movie was screened at Regional Film Festival (RiFF) on October 31st of last year, and at PIA Film Festival: Sendai on November 23rd. It's scheduled to be released theatrically in Japan by Toshiki Shima's Shima Films on July 30th. It stars Tasuku Emoto, art critic Ichirô Hariu (a.k.a. Ichirô Haryû), Etsuko Seki, Kaori Kobayashi, Juri Ihata, Mansaku Fuwa, Yôji Tanaka, Masakatsu Toriyama, and Atsuto Maruyama (given name may be "Atsuhito", etc.).

Very active in the underground pink film in the 60s. His works GO GO SECOND TIME VIRGIN, VIOLATED ANGELS, SKELETON IN THE CLOSET, and EMBRYO GOES POACHING are all pretty well known. Also was the Japanese producer on Nagisa Oshima's AI NO CORRIDA/IN THE REALM OF THE SENSES.
