Imagine that you and a group of your twelve year old friends had an idea- not really any money mind you- but an idea to remake a legendary Hollywod blockbuster. Now imagine that you finished filming oh, let's when you were eighteen having spent somewhere in the neighborhood of $5000.
Now imagine that the director of the original film, we'll call him Steven Spielberg, get's a copy of your modest epic, and instead of having his lawyers send off a nasty letter, starts telling everyone how completely cool you and your film are.
And of course how else would outr story end but with you and your friends selling the rights to your story to a powerful Hollywood producer.
The above is exactly what happened to Chris Strompolos and Erik Zala.
But why read on? You can ask them yourself since THEY'LL BE AT THE SCREENING!!
