Anthony Zimmer

(Posted In)

anthony.jpg After the rather sloppy performance of the enigmatic duo Vincent Cassel/Monica Bellucci in Agents Secrets the latest spy-thriller to come out of Europe ANTHONY ZIMMER teams up Sophie Marceau and Yvan Attal (My Wife is an Actress) in what appears to be a much more credible production. Created to appeal to those fascinated with the spy genre in a rather conventional way the film offers a hefty dose of flashy camera shots, beautiful views of the French coast line, and last but not least a hefty dose of suspense.

Anthony Zimmer premiered in cinemas in France and Belgium only two weeks ago and suprisingly the rest of Europe will have to wait until later this summer to see it. Unfortunately a distribution deal for North America is yet to be negotiated. Check the trailers here.

I'm pretty curious to check out Agents Secrets, actually, but who knows if it will ever be released with subtitles. Anyone?

No, there is no English DVD version on the horizon though the film received a limited UK screening.

This is a great film - caught it on a plane to the Middle East where it was shown with English sub-titles. I've tried to see if I can get a copy here in the UK, but no luck.
