Wu Jing Interview on Kaiju Shakedown

(Posted In)

wujing.jpgOooh ... Grady over at Kaiju Shakedown has scored himself a wee interview with Wu Jing, mostly about his role in upcoming Hong Kong actioner Sha Po Lang. That's two people I know now who have seen the film and both swear that it absolutely rules. The interview's short but sweet. Check it here.

Hey, Todd, which other one swears by SPL? And what's the actual word?

Strange as it may seem I can't actually answer that question without getting someone in trouble ... the general gist, however, was hot damn.

This is going to be the gem of the year in terms of hong kong cinema and with a bit of luck will actually bring the focus of asian action films back to China. No teenage popstars or Jackie Chan trying to act just hardcore fighting and quite possibly a plot. If anyone has any info on when exactly this film will be available please let me know. In the mean time i'll make do with House of Fury and So Close when i get them.

Someone's feeling jealous ...

You may not be able to see it yet and I may not be able to see it yet, but hundreds of people at the HK Filmart certainly did ...

Who's jealous? Not me. Right now, the only HK film I wanna see is House of Fury!

Gareth, at the moment, the only release date known is that Sha Po Lang is set to open in Hong Kong in November 05, tentatively. Cause you lot know how dates can change and stuff..

Does House of Fury have a DVD release date yet? Was just talking about that tonight ...

Is the Wu-Jin v Donnie scene hand to hand or weapons?

» Posted by quak at May 11, 2005 07:43 PM

Hand to hand as far as I know ... I don't think you could improv a weapon fight without doing serious damage to each other ...
