The trailer doesn't do the film justice...WAAAAY too much Voice over...
Disney has consistently failed to properly bring Miyazaki's films to the U.S. Market...
/it is a shame
Truth be told the Japanese trailers for most movies don't do those movies (ANY Japanese movie almost these days) justice either. Almost seems as though the art of making good trailers hasn't reached Asia at all. I like the Howl trailers actually that Disney made although yeah the voice overs and the typography could be left out. You know: the French trailer was nice actually, or so I thought. I have seen the film and really got that same feeling again when I saw the French version.
thing is, as far as i can remember, there wasnt a trailer on the japanese site... odd.
Oh... my god. I'm entirely enthused that Miyazaki's finally come through with this film. I do love the book dearly, and by the looks of it, Howl is quite as BLOODY GORGEOUS as he's meant to be.
If the trailer doesn't do the film justice, I'm really going to be quite in heaven when I get through with the film.
