Born To Fight. R2 UK DVD. September 12th 2005.

Yes, I know it's half a year away. Yes, I know you (like I) want it right now. But, at least you know when it's coming, how long you have to spend crying yourself to sleep at night for, and how long before you need to find the spare weekend to repeatedly watch it until the laser burns away the plastic and scrapes at the metal inside the DVD.
This should (repeat, should) be a great edition of the film, but just incase, let's all just hang on to see what exactly we would get and what the other options are that are announced between now and then. Until then the Thai disc is out there, without English Subtitles.

I thought the fights isn't that great. I don't mind flashy atttacks but that was all there is. The terrorist are just punching bags just to let the good guys show off their moves on them. I like the stunt falls but some of the action scenes looks too over the top to swallow like juggling a soccer ball while dodging the evil terroist.

that reminds me...i have to sit down and watch Born To Fight (Thai DVD). i think i am going to forget about waiting for subs!

Born to fight is an action movie, not a martial arts movie, if you where expecting ong bak you would be dissapointed, but as an action movie it's way better than anything turning up stateside. And you dont really need subs, the plot is very easy to follow, and the thai dvd is excellent. Plus, Im kind of again mirimax making money out of asian cinema after what they done to past movies.
