Auto Destruct and New Shorts From Jared Hess Coming To Toronto!

In Toronto? Got plans for Wednesday April 13th? You do now ... Res Magazine is sponsoring a screening at the lovely Royal Cinema featuring a selection of music videos with names such as Gondry and Shynola attached as well as new short films from Napoleon Dynamite director Jared Hess PLUS the Toronto premiere of Auto Destruct: One Man's Obsession With William Shatner. You remember this. Sure you do. We linked to this music video from it a while back. It rules.

As it turns out the man behind Auto Destruct is a local boy so us Toronto folk are lucky enough to see this thing projected. Alas I'll be in my car loaded up on drugs to stave off the pain of my shiny new teeth whilst driving to Philadelphia to gorge on films at the Philly Film Festival so I won't be able to attend myself but you can bet at least a couple of us Twitch-ers will be there.
