Kei Nakata's TSURUGI: THE FUTURE SWORDSMAN (TSURUGI)

Nakata is the grandson of actor Kôji Nakata, and the nephew of actor Hirohisa Nakata. He himself has acted in a number of movies, including Katsuya Matsumura's All Night Long 2 (Ôru naito rongu 2)

Kanahama starred in Kenji Ônishi's experimental horror Squareworld (Sukueawârudo), which - like Ônishi's experimental documentary A Burning Star (Shôsei) - apparently has never been released on video anywhere in the world. (I've even checked the website of Image Forum/Daguerreo Press, which has released such movies as Shûji Terayama's experimental masterpiece Emperor Tomato Ketchup (Tomato Kecchappu Kôtei) - both the feature-length (i.e., 1970) and short (i.e., 1971) versions - on VHS.)
