HK DVD releases of Hoshino's CURSED and Oikawa's TOKYO PSYCHO

They both look really, truly, awful (if you're gonna shoot DV, at least try to make it look decent), but Cursed has Susumu Terajima in it, so I might pick it up just for that.

I watched "Cursed" yesterday and it wasn't too bad. While there was no good plot, the acting was so-so and it was obviously done on a low budget, I enjoyed watching it through - I can't say the same of most of the recent Korean horror movies that have good production values but otherwise seem lifeless and dull. There's just something in Japanese horror movies - even bad ones - that works better for me..
Anyway, don't buy this for Susumu Terajima, he has only a few minutes of screentime and even that isn't particualrly good.
Also the subs on the HK dvd aren't very good. Not machine translated but they often don't correspond very well with what the characters are saying.
